Supra Turbo: The
performance leader comes with intercooled sequential twin turbochargers that help the
3.0-liter twin-cam 24-valve EFI in-line 6-cylinder engine produce 320 hp @ 5,600 rpm. In
addition to features found on the standard Supra, the Turbo also includes a Traction
Control System (TRAC), leather-trimmed sport seats, a power driver’s seat, a Premium
3-in-1 sound system with 7 speakers, 17″ 5- spoke polished aluminum alloy wheels and
a distributorless Toyota Direct Ignition system. It’s available with either a 6-speed
manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic. (Due to emissions restrictions, the Turbo
is not available in CA, CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI and VT.)
Models: 1998 Supra and Supra Turbo. (Supra Turbo not available in
states requiring California emissions.)

 SAFETY FEATURES
  • Driver and front passenger air bag Supplemental Restraint System
    (SRS):
    Standard on Supra and Supra Turbo. Supra’s driver and front passenger air bags
    are a Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) designed to inflate in a severe frontal
    collision. In all other accidents, seatbelts offer primary protection, and the air bags
    will not inflate. Do not sit or place objects close to an air bag. To minimize the risk of
    severe injury or death in all types of crashes, seatbelts must be worn at all times by all
    vehicle occupants. Do not use rearwardfacing child seat in any front passenger seat. The
    force of a deploying air bag SRS may cause serious injury. For more information on air
    bags and instructions on child seat usage, see the Owner’s Manual.
