That is a replacement part. You can get them from Toyota a little over $100.
A better option would be a billet one like Boost Logic sells. Should never
break, but run about $300. Before the billet one, I replace 3 of them on my
way to 215k miles.

Subject: [mkiv] Drive Pulley woes

Hi, folks

I thought my serpentine belt broke today on my '94 TT but it turns out that
the drive pulley fell apart. Apparently it's a two piece thing with some
rubber inbetween. Thankfully, it happened less than a block from my home.

My question is this...is there any way to repair this or am I stuck pulling
and replacing the complete part? If so, do you have any guesses what kind of
a price these things go for? My problem is that my other car ('91 MR2) just
lost it's fuel pump so now I'm out of wheels for the first time in my life
(both first failures for either car and in the same week!)

Thanks so much,

Bob
