Alright guys,

Dial indicator showed no movement in the crank. I
pulled my tranny last weekend and inspected my PP,
flywheel, clutch disk, slave cylinder, pilot bearing
T/O bearing and I found nothing wrong. I also drained
my oil and replaced oil filter inspecting both for
metal shavings...nothing! The only thing I found was
when I was turning the crank pulley front bolt to turn
the motor to get the PP bolts out I turned
counterclockwise once and the crank pulley bolt broke
loose with no effort, like 30 inch pounds! Could that
have been my problem all along and can I just tighten
that up and fix everything or did that cause my crank
to walk? Also can I just pull one or both of the oil
pans off and look to see if the thrust washers are
worn? I heard the oil pans wont come off but will
drop down, is that true for both? how far will they
drop? Enough to see the thrust washers? Any help
would be appreciated. Someone told me the harmonic
balancer could be bad. would that cause all my
symptoms?

Again my symptoms are mushy clutch pedal while driving
and vibration/rubbing noise when I push the clutch
pedal all the way down. Also pushing it causes rpm to
drop 300-400 rpm and sometimes causes engine to die
completely.

Thanks! Hope this can be solved soon!
