It sounds like you are a fairly good customer there. I would take it back 
and since I understood you to say that you have some other parts on order, 
ask them to give you a credit for the full amount toward the parts you have 
not received yet. If there is a problem, the counter guy will refer you to 
the manager. I know I would have no problem doing it and don't think most 
guys would for a good customer.
